Good start to the month yesterday with the delivery of Falcon 2000LX M-STCO (the second use of these marks) which arrived from Little Rock AR, via a fuel stop in Canada, at about 1130 and parked nicely on V.
Also noted that morning (having over-nighted) was PA24-250 N218SA - outside Woodgate.

Until today the "Freighter of the year" award was heading to the South African Herc - however about 1630 today it was grabbed by the arrival of AN-12BK UR-CKL of Cavok - a first visit of the type, in a smart orange and black scheme, which parked nicely on stand 3 and is apparently night-stopping.
Anyone got it's c/n ??

To answer my own question, the c/n is 01348005 and it's ex EX-139 - (it carries the c/n on the rear fuselage but only on the starboard side, which was not visible last night the way it parked !!)

After keeping us guessing all morning the AN-12 finally departed at 1315 - lots of smoke but an early lift-off into a (very fortunately) blue sky - no doubt Acklington will post a selection of shots later.
Then, after the Ukrainian comes the Pole - another surprise tonight with the arrival about 1630 of Baron SP-MAP - parked outside of Woodgate it looks set for a night-stop so hopefully it'll stay until the sun gets up tomorrow !

Today 5th December the Polish Baron was still parked near Woodgate, albeit surrounded by black ice! Tucked in the back of the adjacent hangar, I was surprised to find Cessna T303 Crusader N889VF, which has obviously been there for some time. Aer Arann Dublin flight was flown by ATR72 EI-REH, in plain white, green engines, and Aer Lingus titles. And (going back to Monday 3rd) we all missed Q400 G-JECY on the morning BHX service in Brussels Airlines colours.

Prompted by Marquis (who has the details) here is a photo just taken of a Voyager towing a Typhoon on a racetrack pattern to the north of the IOM.

According to various sources the Voyager was using call-sign "AED016" and is registered EC-335 with c/n 1033 - (it was initially thought to be destined to become ZZ330 with the RAF but as that is c/n 1046 is now likely to become ZZ331 ??). Unfortunately I can find no ID on the Typhoon.
It appears to have been tracking over the northern part of the Irish sea, going as far south as Barrow up to the Point of Ayre on the IOM then across to Workington and south again, for several hours either side of 1400 when I first noticed it.
A few low approaches and go-arounds would be nice !!

Confusion continues on the Voyager as I've seen "AED016" reported on two different SBS reports for yesterday as both EC335 AND ZZ330 !!!
Also yesterday afternoon a Scottish Fisheries F406 was on V - reported by an eye-witness as G-SMMA but it used the callsign "Watchdog 65" which is normally G-SMMB, and a SBS report also quotes G-SMMB ??

Today's star turn was Unicef A319 G-EZIO of Easyjet, on the LGW service. It parked alongside G-EZBA from LPL. Thanks Alex, for the heads-up.
