Can anybody remember a Lake Amphibian based at Liverpool in the 70`s? I can remember it well but not the reg Any help greatly appreciated Cheers Stuart

In the Liverpool history section there is a thread that details all visits to Liverpool by amphibious aircraft types since the 50s. www.derbosoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=history&action=display&thread=3117Certainly Thurston Teal G-AXZN fits the bill, not as a resident, but did in 1970, 1971 and 1972 visit and spend several nights each year at Liverpool in Hangar No.1. I may move this thread to the Liverpool Airport - History and Memories section later when I have the time to 'fiddle'. Think it would 'fit' better there than in modern G.A. activity. Interesting, worthwhile question though.
