Don't really like mentioning this in the Liverpool thread.
easyjet Manchester flights until end September 2010 now for sale.
Useful for destinations not served from Liverpool e.g. Munich

Well, why not put it in the Manchester thread then?

SFP, you should know better than to promote flights from Manchester given your position. It would be better for true supporters of Liverpool Airport to fly from Liverpool to Munich with KLM via Amsterdam. That is what real "Friends" would do!

Welcome back Ametyst, I for one have been missing your insight and knowledge. Speaking of which, can you add to the answer provided to RT on the 'Easyjet winter 2009' thread on this section, regarding range/payload of the A.319 v A320 in EasyJet operation?

Yes but lets be honest - when it comes to paying over the odds, how many true friends would give their best mate their last Rolo. Nice to see your both keeping to in house airlines though. Although great for spotting, I would suspect it would be best to go Liverpool, Amsterdam, Munich, with KLM and not take the Liverpool, Amsterdam, Manchester, Amsterdam, Munich option. Obviously, a slight typo there. Happens to the best of us and as Brian says - welcome back Ametyst.

It is my opinion that SFP was simply putting an end to speculation that EasyJet was going to follow Ryanair in a massive trimming of their Manchester and transfer routes to Liverpool. Clearly, with Manchester summer 2010 now entered on to their system, this speculation now lacks any foundation. With that backgound, SFP's post could be considered in the right place!
Why is SFP being blamed for Manchester comments in this section, when it was TonySpeke who brought up the subject in reply #15.

Saturday's (28th November 2009) Daily Telegraph Travel section, under a heading, "New routes" on Page T5, reports.....
"EasyJet is to begin services from Stansted, LIVERPOOL and Manchester to Cagliari in Sardinia on March 28th, from LIVERPOOL to Malta on June 13 and from Manchester to Helsinki on March 28th........." (My capitals)
Is this - Cagliari - another new Liverpool destination for Summer 2010? Malta is already known of course.
Interestingly, on EZY's Booking Engine as of this morning (Sun 29th Nov) Cagliari is bookable from Stansted, but not from Liverpool or Manchester.
