G-BOAC Heathrow to Liverpool 9.4.1994 video. Just came across this,, it flits from the actual flight to footage of her at Manchester AVP. Good shot of her landing 7 minutes in. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VT9FsPqksuo (still a good link in July 2023)

I can’t upload a pic from my phone, but I was looking through some old pics I have the other day and I found a lovely one of Concorde from 1996 at LPL, it’s just the nose and the XP 146 as the main with a few emerald a/c in the background. It isn’t so much related to Concorde although it was in at the time, does anyone know if the XP was here for the national horse drop off/return or if it was for TNT cargo runs on the overspill?
Thanks, Chris

OK, having now got the photo displayed on nwan by circuitous means with the assistance of "KLM MD11" (to whom many thanks) an attempt to answer the question posed. From the iPhone you first have to upload to an account on Flicker (or another hosting site), then download the image code on to the nwan post compose box. Although the Proboards forum site gives the impression you can download direct, it is not possible to do so. Some very infrequent image posters get around it by e-mailing the image as an attachment to one of Admin Brians to upload to a photo host site and download the unique code.
On Saturday 30th March 1996, the Concorde was G-BOAG, landing at 11:01, departing 16:00. That year Concorde arrived with 'punters' for the Grand National Meeting at Aintree, did a supersonic charter 12:50-14:20, then returned to London with passengers, but not supersonic.
There was a blood stock flight, with Grand National Meeting horses back to Dublin on Saturday evening. Operated by BAe.146-300QT G-TNTE it was on the ground 16:32-18:50, so cannot be the aircraft in the photo as it was not on the ground at the same time as Concorde.
There were 2 BAe.146-300QT aircraft used on the Belfast, Dublin and Shannon newspapers that night, G-TNTG, G-TNTR and G-TNTL. Which (if any) of those was in 'XP' colours I now have no record. At that time a large weight of newspapers passed through Liverpool each night, with a peak on a Saturday night with the Sunday newspapers and supplements. Not that many years later the trade had dried up completely due to digital transmission of the text to printing machines in Ireland.
