Hi urgentemente,
last year Southport Tower used 121.175 but cannot guarantee it will be the same this year. If you listen to Woodvale on 121.00 I'm sure they will give it to the displaying a/c
Cheers

Thanks for the radio freq's, I'll stick them in the scanner tonight ready for sunday.
Bit gutted that a large % of the heli's have cancelled, was really looking forward to a good look around the static ones. Anyone know why they've all cancelled?
We just had the Typhoon fly over our work place (in Kirky industrial estate), did a couple of side on loops over the housing estate then jinked off the other way towards Manchester. It did a similar 'display' a few months ago as well...

Blame Joint Helicopter Command...serviceability issues. Major pre-Herrick work up on at the moment.

Is it just me or has anyone noticed that the GR4 isn't on the show list?? Have the Tornado's been taken out of airshow action altogether or are they filling the gap with the Typhoon now??

The GR4s were only part of the Role Demonstration last year which was scrapped due to funding and operational requirements.
