I wish them all the best, but how old are the aircraft?

Excellent to see another airline at Liverpool, I thought this would have been the sort of route that Wizzair would have provided when they signed their new contract last year. Hopefully Blue Air might see the potential from here for more routes, if this one is a success,

I wish them all the best, but how old are the aircraft? Probably no older, than what Jet2 would have used if they had !came here,Blue air are now taking delivery of -800.s not sure if they are new build or not,but we will be getting -400,s, I hope this is the first of what I consider Niche markets,I hope for Wow/Iceland express next, and also daily scheduled flights to Turkey hopefully by Pegasus or Sun express, who I expect the airport have all spoken to!

Wizz did try try OTP,briefly about 5 years plus ago,but it was withdrawn very quickly,I think a Romanian based airline will make the difference here, also there are no flights from Manchester at the moment so that is positive for the route!

is bucharest planned to cease in march ? Thats the end of the Blue air winter schedule,so hopefully it will continue into the 2015 summer schedule, when that is released by the airline.

Blue Air no longer operate 738s. They were returned off lease a couple or so years back, when the old Blue Air had financial problems. There are none on order at the moment. The fleet is made up of 1 x 735, 1x 733 and 7x 734s. The "newest" 400 was delivered last month.
