The thread is about the problems with the 787's mechanical and technical problems not aircraft un-tidyness or passenger dress sense. Please stick to it. Thanks Beemer. (Administrator)

G-TUIE has apparently not had the errant engine changed yet.

Quite right to call the posters to order, however, I thought the comments and views were quite entertaining.

Problem with Aldi is not the dress sense but their car parks do not have helipads. When will they see sense and cater for their more discerning customers.
My butler refuses to take the roller as the spaces are too small.

It's probably not a comparison as such but I work in the motor trade and I can tell you that new vehicles these days certainly are not as reliable as people think. For whatever reason though we don't hear about the issues motor manufacturers have. Problem is they are simply trying to pack in too much technology, and build them too quickly. Could the same be said about the 787 ??

Not sure if it's true or not but I remember reading somewhere that a captain said to his co-pilot on taking delivery of a new aircraft;
Doesn't it worry you to think that this has been built using parts sourced at the lowest possible cost?
