In 2007 I found myself going to three different airshows in three very different parts of the world and yesterday, whilst I was looking for something else on a memory stick, I came across these, which I don't think I've posted before. Having been forced as part of my job to visit overseas airshows, I did at least manage to take my camera and get off a few shots from time to time. Here are a few of them:

...and another view
NBAA Atlanta 2007 ZS-LOG GII (SP)
MAKS Moscow 2007 AN-148 UR-NTB The guy with his arms out was my boss at the time, so I couldn't really tell him to go away!
MAKS Moscow 2007 TU-144D CCCP-77115 This aircraft was the last production model, which is kept in immaculate condition, both inside and out, but the CCCP- prefix suggests that it no longer flies. The queue to go on board was never-ending. There is an interesting article on the type in the current edition of 'Airliner World'.
Dubai Air Show 2007 N356BJ B737-700NG 'Peace Eagle' (strange name - I've never associated eagles with peace!) still wearing its US reg prior to delivery to the Turkish A/F where it acquired the serial 13-001. The aircraft was fully fitted out in Turkey and there was relatively little on board during its visit to the show.
Dubai Air Show 2007 HZ-WBT7 B747-400 The private property of Al Waleed bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud (to give him his full title!) drops in just prior to the start of the display. The Prince was in the market for an A380 at one time, but I suspect that the limited number of airports which can handle the A380 may have curbed his enthusiasm. It certainly wouldn't be the price tag!
