Wow !! thanks for the information, as far as I remember the 747 was nose down when I arrived at the Gatwick viewing area. I had forgotten about the incident until I was copying the slide. Great to find out what really happened. Many thanks, AM

Some kerosene fumes for Christmas Guys... Phwarrrr ! Look these beauties, a very fine pair I must say.. Just out of the 35mm slide restoration shed. A shimmering silver Condor DC-10 D-ADPO from Am amarrahhand a gleaming Aeromexico DC-10 XA-DUH from Bob SambaThis one is complete with Trademark "DC underbelly jelly" bouncing around at the back. No dyson hairdrier engined eco, neo, green dream machines in this thread..NO,Not on your nelly !

Used to love going the states on CO DC10.The fumes that filled the plane before take off were amazing.

I have a soft spot for the DC10, as a kid I was lucky enough to go to New York, and later to Miami, on both occasions on a Laker DC10. It was amazing id never been on a plane so big, and with a film ! Happy Days : -)

robaero...............when were the shots at Amsterdam taken? I can`t recall having seen a DC-10 in NWA`s last colour scheme.I doubt that too many of them made it into this scheme.

Big big thanks to Mike @ radiostationx for helping to see what a bit of time, effort and some software can do to my damaged slides. Really impressed. What a fantastic livery CP Air had...looked great on their DC8s too. before-after-dc10 by Amarrahh Tidacha, on Flickr

Looking thro my old pics,, think its a 10 but not sure as wingtip just out of sight a VASP taken in Belguim must be 15 plus years was only one seen ( Tried to upload)
