Just wondered about this Paul, when I log in and set "forever" for the log in period from the drop down menu, then if Having left the site and then returned at a later time or day I find I have to log in again as it has been closed and logged me out. The previous forum I remained logged in whatever period of time I left for. is this correct

Yeah, but if you look at other certain sites and then you have to delete them before Missus or other see them, it takes out password. ;D Ha ha haaaaa

i don't have a problem like you seem to biggles. from when i first logged onto the site and clicked "forever", i have never had to log in since. the only time i have to log on again is when i'm in work, but that maybe something to do with the firewall the nhs uses. (until it was recently updated i never had a problem there either).

I have my login set forever on at least four different machines and never have to re-enter password.
If you delete browsing tracks or cookies the site login data will be lost as pointed out by Mark ;-)

Thanks Paul it may be something to do with that Guy Branson and Virgin Media security stuff built into the broadband connection, which may emtpy browser cash and cookies and sites visited.
