By a coincidence I have just scanned this old slide of G-ARGO. Have not had the time to edit it yet RT

I had all kinds to do this afternoon - I've been in front of my laptop for hours now looking at this incredible collection of historical information. I'm in trouble with the Missus - thanks a lot Viscount! ; )

I'm at work and the PC's are rubbish so the photos have just come up - superb! thanks for them. I just wished I could have kept all my photos from back then - ex wife took them just to tick me off - she managed that alright.

Superb photo on page 90 of October's Airliner World of Air France Super Constellation F-BHBI outside the terminal building during a World cup visit in July 1966. (Courtesy of Adrian Balch). Not a soul on the viewing balconies though! Kev

Would it be possible to see some shots of 757 and 767 covered in this thread?

Yes.
Certainly the Boeing 767 is the only 'wide-body' airliner type that has not been put under the microscope - and truly deserves to have proper place in the record of airliners at Liverpool. There are very nearly 40 years of movements to research as the first visit by type was on 12th February 1984 with Britannia Airway's G-BKVZ arriving for crew training. Have done much of the research once, but the notes got misplaced on a major home move 6 years ago. Currently I am working to both replace 'Photobucket' watermarked images and bring the 'Liverpool Airport Based Companies' accounts up to date, so the Boeing 767 'Type Review' is, unfortunately, not a high priority at present.
The Boeing 757 visits go back to only a few months before the first Boeing 767, to 26th September 1983 with Monarch's G-MONC on a diverted flight. Many more visits than Boeing 767 aircraft so an even more daunting task! Again a type that deserves coverage especially as it is most certainly on the way out. Just 9 visits by Boeing 757 aircraft during 2022, involving 3 different aircraft (G-ZAPX, TF-FIC and mostly G-POWH), with no visits at all in the first 7 months of 2023.
