On be-half of the Forum Administration and the good name of Liverpool's regular aviation enthusiasts could we request to all, both regulars and especially first time visitors:

PLEASE, EVERYONE PARK SENSIBLY - there is a surprising amount of space if parked reasonably spaced in regular lines between the mound and flying club parking.

Please, absolutely NO parking in the 'Crash Gate 2' area as you will be moved and we get blamed! Yes, it is a convenient space, and the 'no parking' signs have gone, but the rule that all Airport Crash Gates MUST be kept clear at all times is there for a reason!

KEEP VISCOUNT DRIVE, THE G.A. ROAD CLEAR so the Flying School and FBO VIP traffic can carry on with their normal business without disruption caused by thoughtless selfish parking.

Finally, but not least, please TAKE YOUR LITTER HOME with you - don't discard it. There are people in the airport who don't want us spotter/photographers because of the litter that gathers in this area - indeed blame us for it, don't give them any opportunity to grumble over this issue this weekend.

Good relations with the airport and tenant companies is vital to us, as it is their land we are on, EVERYONE will need to play their part in helping maintain the good relationships we have.

I think its about time that the forum members thanked Brian for the lists he has supplied for the weekend.After all the hassle that has developed. These lists must have taken awhile to complete and display on the forum.We now have all or most of the info for all 3 days arrivals and departures.Hope all spotters have a great time. early birds can always catch up on their sleep later.

As has been previously noted, the expected prevailing wind on Saturday is easterly. Does anyone know what the more likely SIDS will be on Saturday, given that the MIRSI hold will be active for Manchester? Will I be able to sit in my garden in Rainhill and watch the outbounds?

I've been to the very end of Oglet right up by the tower of an evening before, but there is limited parking.....plus I was a bit nervous about going into the field there. Does anyone ever use this when on 09's?

When copying information over to forums for airports website, would it not be a courtesy to at least thank and/or credit the original authors? Noticed it quite a few times now when information has been copied over and you have either claimed credit for the info or not credited this site and it’s authors at all.

It is very much luck of the draw - the staff in the tower tend to ring security and have spotters removed from that field but ignore dog walkers. I was asked to leave last time I tried it, as have other forum members .

I've never claimed any credit, I've just shared information to promote LPL, which is what its all about I would have thought. I can mention where I've read it doesn't bother me really.
