I would suggest the next final is held in Orlando. Dunno about that Ron but Croke Park would be an amazing "Neutral" for this event, and what a venue. 82,500 capacity beating Kiev Stadium by some margin.

Well having suffered low cloud and rain for 48 hours it looks as though the sun will break through as the last departure rolls. Let's hope for extra time , penalties and a shambles at Kiev airport.

Not sure of the protocol for starting a Monday thread, but just checked the Borispol website and it shows ET8701 departing to Liverpool at 1330, which would put it in LJLA about 3pm I would think. No type info, but unlikely to be ET-AUO as that is at CDG ready to operate tonight’s flight to Addis.

FR24 have tommorow mornings incoming Ethiopean 704 ADD-CDG as type b789, Flightaware (enterprise acct) have type A359 scheduled for the ETH704 run leaving in 5 hrs from ADD. One site contradicts the other so keep an eye on ETH704 tonight. Monday 14th May it was A359 (ET-AUC). Monday 21st May it was B789 ET-AUO (which is now sitting at CDG now ready to form tonights ETH705 service back to ADD so presumably it wont be "Beijing" dropping off at LJLA chances are it will be a new visitor) There were a few 777s on the 704 run up to CDG as well on Sunday 20th May (ET-ANR) and Tues 22nd May (ET-AQL). Credit FlightawareThought it okay to put up as this isnt text only thread.

Tonights ETH705 ET-AUO "Beijing" as expected is moving up the "taxi rank" for departure at CDG now 21.45 bst heading for Addis so it will be a new visitor @ LJLA tomorrow.
ETH706 ET-AUC A359 is away and on route to FRA. probably irrelevant
ETH704 ADD-CDG is ET-AUP B789
Reasonable adsb gnd coverage at ADD , thanks to FR24 local feeder friends in Ethiopia !

Those who read FLYER magazine will know they have a feature towards the rear called Heroes and Villains. Well here are mine:- (Remembering I live far way but have been a great fan of Liverpool Airport since the age of 10.)
Heroes:- LFC for reaching the finals of the Champions League. Villains :- UEFA for choosing such a far away location for the final.
Heroes:- The travel agents who managed to organise so many choice aircraft. Heroes. The travel agents who managed to get super star aircraft into Liverpool instead of the temptation to go elsewhere. Heroes:- The fans who managed to find so much spare cash to travel "en masse." Villains. One of the travel agents, who although not totally culpable, obviously was a bit slow to react to events. Villains :-KBP for not awarding landing slots to four large and important aircraft with Liverpool supporters. Hero:- Joe Anderson who at least did something, or appeared to. Heroes:- The staff at Liverpool airport who managed to process so many aircraft, large and small, Heroes:- The National airlines who came to EGGP when the temptation to go elsewhere must have been always there. Heroes:- Blue Air, for quietly getting on with being a local airline and doing the business. Heroes. Beemer and the other administrators for keeping us up to date on events. Heroes:- All those who reported events and displayed many brilliant photographs.
Super Heroes:- Those who posted photos where the excellent flying specimens were obviously photographed at Liverpool.
Villains. Real Madrid for being a better team on the night.

Think I might put a certain goalkeeper(sic) into the super villain category .
Perhaps unfair to call him a goalkeeper

Come on guys we all make mistakes and do things we regret, especially under pressure. The poor lad knows what he did, and there's nothing that he can do about it now so, lets not keep rubbing his nose in it. Like him we are all human and we wouldn't like it if people kept banging on about mistakes we've made. Lets hope his friends and family are giving him the support and encouragement he needs and the fans begin to forgive him. I'm sure he will learn from this and come back next season a better/wiser keeper.

Klopp hasn't learnt from it though has he? There's very little point in spending £70m on a centre half, when he doesn't have a decent keeper at the club. Third season on the run and the problem remains.............
