I'm going early Decemember so perhaps I've just made it, although I think the slightly later morning departure is better.

Yes it operated, but it arrived late 0830 hrs (LN-WEC, photo in daily thread) looked like lots of empty seats outbound.

Be needing a Tomahawk soon,LoL I can't believe Wideroe didn't do any market research to check the viability of the route. Maybe they should have scheduled a Dash 8 from day 1 and then if loads improved, or there was an important event, they could use the E190, assuming 1 was available. I hope this route continues but I have my doubts. The days of giving a route 3 years to prove itself have long gone.

Maybe once the football season really kick off (pun intended) the loads will improve? Was that not how they were intending to market the route?
I'm not a football fan and therefore don't know the answer to the question.

Two questions how many seats does this embraer jet have ?
how many have been on it roughly since it started last month ?
Off topic but maybe blueair should of done the same started with the smaller 700 series and painted the 700 series in Liverpool livery instead of the 800 series which we never see very often haha.

I'm sure they must have done market research I can't believe any airline would launch a route without doing so. Perhaps we just need some faith and hope the passenger groups they are after begin to use this link. I'm not a football fan so I don't know when the season for this begins. I do feel more marketing this end is needed however. Feature on the new route in Airliner World October .

Don`t forget Blue air have had a similar problem with a based aircraft, but are now steadily being recognised.

Don`t forget Blue air have had a similar problem with a based aircraft, but are now steadily being recognised. Remember Norwegian Air Shuttle. They must have done market research but only stayed 5 minutes. Look how successful they are elsewhere, particularly near me, at Gatwick.

For goodness sake people the route is barely a month old (after starting a week early). Get a grip. Overnight sensations rarely happen these days.

It should work charter from Bergen and elsewhere in Norway have been a regular occurrence for football / shopping/ city breaks in Liverpool so it already well tested.
I'm going in December I've never gone to a European city to visit a Christmas Market and low and behold Bergen has one, so I've booked .
Wouldn't be bad idea for LPL to promote this idea for pre Xmas weekends .
