Great photos Ian. My personal favourite is the third one down. When I was selling bizjets, I was once flown out to see a Greek shipowner who lived on one of these superyachts. I was taken by helicopter to the yacht, which was anchored outside the 12-mile limit and registered in the BVI. Inside, it was like something from a James Bond film, with a room full of screens showing where his ships were and what they were doing. And yes, he did buy a 125!

In Croatia a few years ago and watched a superyacht pulled into the bay...part of the side superstructure then dropped down to make a sun deck and the staff came out to put net barriers round it and set the table and chairs out for lunch whilst the stern dropped down to release motor boats and jetskis...the motor boats "patrolled" the area keeping joe public at arms length etc ....a text to daughter back in UK revealed it was owned by an arab sheikh.......another world.....

The yacht in the 4th picture ‘Golden Odyssey’ is apparently worth 300 million and is owned by an Arab Prince
Some of the larger ones we saw were available for charter for £500,000 per week!
When you Google some of them they come up with ‘not available for private charter’ they must be the real high rollers
Definitely a different world
