There is a barrier across the road, by the first traffic light, so no access to the mound. Not sure how ATC are getting to the tower though?

Not been down myself, but I do wonder if the puddle filled holes are being filled in and the road resurfaced at the former junction/far traffic light.
The puddle (lake) filled holes reminded me of the 'Vicar of Dibley' sketch. Lately they have had warning fences around the worst ones, they were deep enough to damage a car I suspect.

Here's what I was told yesterday (apols for the delay in reply, but I was in Sheffield all day):-
."...they have closed the lane from G/A entrance to the other side of 27 due pot holes and a burst water main. You can get round via the 'blocked off road' now unblocked, will be like this for up to five days...."

Thank you to whoever paid for the roadworks! I went down there the otherday and didnt loose my car in the man sized holes!! hehe ... All is "smooth" with the road surface now
