Just a few bread and butter types this time. Bit of a disaster at Lyon-ran out of batteries(doh!!) and each of my spotting corners were stymied by aircraft jetting straight from the terminal and shooting off from 1/2 way down the runway--I therefore missed them because of a mound. This because of a brisk northerly wind. Normally they trundle to the end of the runway and are easily photoed or come in from the North and give a good angle for the shots. Not my best day and all the truly interesting stuff got away. Better luck next time I hope. These are from Chambery-still getting ski flights. Lots of 747s at the moment--often 3 on the ground at once--these are going to become a rare bird soon. Lyon in trying circumstances. idiocy may be catching or is it the dreaded Altzheimers?

John when you said 747's did you mean 757s? i mean i know theres a lot of skiers but to get 3 747s on the ground at Chambery would be an achievement?!
Good photos anyhow like the Jet2 and Titan!

Definitely altzheimers.LOL Yes I did mean 757s. They could not land a 747 at Chambery--and the staff would run screaming from the building at the sight of such a wave of passengers.--I mean they only have 2 carousels for the baggage. Thanks for the reality check--promise to do better next time
