Some great photos there guys, looks a lot better with the blue stuff. There’s a couple more Royal Fleet Auxiliary ships in West float, which looking at google earth have been there a while. John

Those ships have been there about 10 years! and every now and then get towed into Cammel Laid for refitting and painting .The names of the 2 ship's are the Fort Austin (berthed by old Mobil Oil Poulton Bridge ) and the Fort Rosalie (berthed at Duke St Bridge )..

Is this vessel commissioned for service or is the visit part of sea trials?

Wikipedia says sea trials commenced November 2019, commissioned at Portsmouth 10th December 2019. So presumably is now in a period of working up to full efficiency with a series of home waters exercises.
