As part of the same trip I made to Kemble, I called at Coventry, and Lasham. Coventry is looking very sad, the recently vacated West Atlantic hangar has now been fenced off landside and given over to a road haulage company. Another of the hangars appeared to have demolition company vehicle sniffing about. I had also assumed that following the rescue back to the IOM of ATPs SE-MHC and SE-MHJ, that the third ATP SE-LPU had been scrapped. So I was surprised to find it out on the grass near the Control Tower; The two DC-6s are still present, with some minor dismantling of G-APSA prior to its road trip to St Athan. Also, the cafe at Lasham is good and open to non-members.
