Nice photo! Has Bank Quay had a makeover then? I don't remember it having a roof on when I used to use it.

Last saw this beauty about 55yrs ago operating through Crewe, I think. Looks better now. (Cleaned up every day I bet)

John My last visit would have been about 2012/13, but I can assure you that having spent many wet and windy hours waiting on that platform it didn't have a roof on then! There was a canopy, but from your image, this now looks like a complete roof. This image, which is from virtually the same angle as your photo, was taken in 2014:

I think, it’s just the angle.being night-time the platform canopy look closer together.
