It’s now 23.45 and FR24 is showing the busiest airport in the uk is East Midlands. Elsewhere there are few aircraft showing. In fact all the aircraft I can see are cargo.

It’s now 23.45 and FR24 is showing the busiest airport in the uk is East Midlands. Elsewhere there are few aircraft showing. In fact all the aircraft I can see are cargo. A friend of mine works for an all-cargo outfit based at EMA and he says he's flying 'every hour God sends' as he put it. With scheduled flights virtually non-existent, the cargo which normally goes into the hold of the legacy carriers is now being delivered to the all-cargo carriers. There is no restriction on cargo flights. |
