Now that there are 16 based EasyJet based aircraft following today’s arrivals are we expecting anymore?. Also do We expect any Ryanair aircraft for storage pending availability of parking spaces. Regards Les McS 😷

That must be a new record event: 8 different and consecutive (as in no other aircraft between them) easyJet arrivals within a 40 minute timespan - and not a passenger in sight!
Doubt very much we have ever had 16 easyJet aircraft on the ground together before - and another anticipated.

I would love to see any photographs of all these aircraft on the ground together. Is anyone within walking distance of the airport and able to take any photos without breaking any of our current lockdown restrictions. Take care everyone Les McS

i imagine they will be doing maintenance whilst they're on the ground in LPL. I dont know where easyjet have other engineering locations, but i guess a factor in there being so many now is that the parking charges are more favourable than other places or perhaps even zero.

A couple of easy photos courtesy of Evoant taken at ground level. I did contact ATC in the Tower for a mobile phone photo of the 16 easyJets taken from above but it was a case of "....jobs worth" and I needed to contact the Airport Manager. Needless to say I didn't bother. easy 3a by Beemer328i, on Flickr easy 1a by Beemer328i, on Flickr
