EI-DHS has been up for a quick‘ ‘spin around the block’ this morning. It’s just landed (08:10) after a 15 minute flight out to the Irish Sea, a couple of holds at KEGUN and back again.
Looks like EI-ENJ has just pushed back, presumably for similar.
And finally EI-EKZ taxiing out at 08:50

Ryanair will be test flying the aircraft at least every 4 days. It looks like EI-EKZ will be next up in the air.

Regarding these numerous '15 minute test flights' it seems quite an extensive/expensive non green process, relative to just completing periodic engine runs. Can anyone advise the advantage/necessity for actual fights ? MTIA Ant

As posted elsewhere Ant, it appears that the aircraft are required to undertake regular ILS approaches to avoid the need for maintenance, whilst crew need to make regular flights to remain current, failing which significant SIM training is required.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, if not I apologise. With members discussing ILS landing circuits to prevent additional maintenance would airlines be able to bring forward any upcoming checks or planned maintenance whilst the aircraft are not in use, are aircraft engineers considered "key workers". Cheers, Phil

Thanks for your post eye2eye5, based (sorry) on this, I wonder if we can also expect some orange rotations ? Only time will tell - (and many of us currently have alot of that ) Cheers

G-WMRN TBM900 doing some training this morning. Some general handling over the Bay followed by a hold at the LPL Beacon, an ILS and low approach on r/w 27 @ 11:27hrs, and a visual to land. G-WMRN TBM900 by Beemer328i, on Flickr

Can anyone explain why Wizz air are still flying the Romanian routes when most of Europe is grounded. Romania reports a surge of cases so seems illogical to be flying., are there measures at Ljla to assess inbound pax?
