Yes, French Air Force C-160 Transall, on the ground 1033 to 1216, but not now sure if those times are BST or GMT (likely GMT). From Lyneham to Amsterdam. At the time Liverpool was getting a fair number of Manchester flights due to night runway work there. Not a great deal of interest moved in the daylight hours, although there was a German Cessna 172 D-EMDY around 3 hours after the Transall.
I still have all the 1979 visiting aircraft logs, as transcribed from the ATC arrivals and departure records at the time - which why I suspect the times are 'Zulu' as ATC work in GMT (now UTC).
