Hi all With the lack of anything else happening, I think I really MUST make the effort to visit this year, can someone please message me details for parking/viewing without upsetting anyone?
Am I correct in thinking that they hold a "photographers" type event at the end of their detachment, if so how do we find out any details on this?
Thanks in advance

Park anywhere along Thistledown Drive and then take the path that runs between the railway tracks and camp.
Helicopters are usually in 2 or 3 groups and will eventually appear on your Left.

Am I right in thinking that this is a night time exercise? I read flying between midnight and 0330. If so, does anyone know what day or when they will be coming in - might try and get a few photos.
Many thanks.

Many thanks. Afternoon/evening/night. Whoever mentioned midnight doesn't understand that the military have 24 hours in their day ;)
The egg beaters usually arrive from Friday lunchtime and route in via Manchester Low Level Corridor or through Speke Zone.
