Now that the little one is a bit older and in a settled sleep routine I have decided to get a model out. Its not the usual size but a bit smaller in 1/144 so will see how this one goes. With 3 larger sprues, 1 medium ad 1 small and a small clear sprue it looks a very tidy kit. At first glance it looks very detailed with plenty of recessed panel lines there but I will have to see how it fits together. This will be an out of the box build with no aftermarket gear. The decals are small and don't give you a choice of serials but being basic on this size I cant see how you could detail it with the decals. 20200705_221323 by Christopher Newton, on Flickr 20200705_221346 by Christopher Newton, on Flickr 20200705_221404 by Christopher Newton, on Flickr 20200705_221414 by Christopher Newton, on Flickr 20200705_221425 by Christopher Newton, on Flickr Chris

Well the first bits are together with only a few minor issues. The detailing in the cockpit is rather difficult with the size. The decals are small and fiddly and the console, stick and seat are difficult to put in place with no room for movement. The main section comes in 4 pieces, left and right for the cockpit and nose and a top and bottom for the wings and main fuselage. I did notice that there is a slight difference in diameter where the nose meets the main body, while leaving a small gap at the top in the join of the left and right sections. Where the top and bottom sections of the wings meet there is also a small gap. Other than that, so far so good. 20200708_194841 by Christopher Newton, on Flickr 20200708_194832 by Christopher Newton, on Flickr 20200708_194812 by Christopher Newton, on Flickr 20200708_194726 by Christopher Newton, on Flickr Chris
