In 1975, somewhat in desperation with only a 400mm lens available, I took two Kodachrome 64 slides of this Dakota. The slides have remained in the 'duds' box for 45 years, until today when the Microsoft "photostitch" programme was tried. It joined the two halves very well, but much further work was needed to produce a fully restored image. Great work. I had no idea such a thing was possible. I have a box full of that stuff.
I suppose this is the same technique used by journalists and others for spoofs and fake news,
