Couple of questions based on just looking at the Merseyflight webcam. Firstly, there is a single engine aircraft parked on the south side of the ramp, parked in the area that helicopters normally park. It is facing towards the hangar. Looks like a Tomahawk with engine and cockpit cover on. I have never seen any aircraft parked in that area before - just curious if there is any particular reason. Its position looks like it would affect helicopter parking. Secondly, looking towards the ATC tower, there are some dark patches along the edge of the ramp and around the base of the floodlight. I cannot make out what they are in the gloomy light - are they bushes, weeds, grass growing long? One area looks quite large and far worse than my garden. Whatever it is, it looks very unsightly and am wondering why it hasn't been cleaned up when the mowers are out. Thanks.

The aircraft is G-RVRY. It has a puncture and awaiting engineer lift on Monday to prevent further damage under tow.

Thanks Evoant, that makes sense. I just looked at the Merseyflight webcam again, it is 0430 right now in LPL. Under the overhead lighting, it clearly shows that large blob I saw is indeed a large bush growing right at the edge of the concrete. Must be a good 3-4 feet tall and diameter even larger. Seems strange to allow this, and it makes the place look uncared for. Is this the only area like this around the G/A ramp, or are there other areas too? Thanks.
