It has been reported that Cessna 172 G-BEWR and Piper PA-28-181 have both been sold. I should have said the PA-28 is G-BSIZ.

It is sad to see Cessna 172 G-BEWR departing as it is the first small plane I ever flew in back in 1981, 36 years ago. This was it then. Regards Beemer. G-BEWR C172

Piper PA-38 G-BGSH will be dismantled in the next week or so, and the wings will be transferred on to Piper PA-38 G-BNYK, when the spare life runs out on its current set. G-BGSH probably hasn't flown now for 2 years, and has sat festering on the apron.

Referring to Brian's comments on G-BEWR Cessna 172 this was also the first light aircraft that I had flown in we travelled along the North Wales coast probably around 1980/81 as I was about 15/16 years old closely followed by a trip up to the Blasckpool lights in Pa31 Navajo G-BBNT. Great memories Regards Les McS
