These football shots of a triumphant Liverpool would appear to be either 1981 with LFC arriving from the Paris final on Aer Lingus Boeing 737 EI-BCR, or more likely LFC arriving home from the Rome final of 1984 on EI-ASG.
On edit:
Jumped to a conclusion too early here - it is May 1976, LFC returning from Bruges on EI-ASB Boeing 737 of Aer Lingus.
Thanks Bill for correcting my mis-identification of the Cup being carried.

Brian The trophy in the pics is the UEFA Cup. Liverpool were successful May 1973, the second leg played away on 23rd May in Moenchengladbach. Winners again 19th May 1976 the second leg in Bruges. Third time was 16th May 2001 when Shankly, Paisley and those players were no longer at the club. Hope this helps. Bill W

Thank you "Groundhopper". I had discounted LFC return from the EUFA Cup two-legged finals, overlooking that the 2nd leg was the away leg of them both. Certainly not the 2nd (away) leg of the 1973 Borussia Moenchengladbach final, as no Aer Lingus aircraft were involved, the team travelling home on a British Airways BAC-111-510 G-AVMH.
However the other 2 Legged home and away final, 1976 at Bruges does indeed fit the bill. Aer Lingus did transport LFC home on that occasion, using Boeing 737 EI-ASB during the afternoon Thursday 20th May. I stand corrected, thank you.
Clearly I need to brush up on my Cup knowledge to the standard of my aircraft identification!
Incidentally it has been pointed out on e-mail by a viewer who did not want to post the information, but in the background one of the Airport Police was a good friend, a spotter with whom I made an aviation trip around the USA in 1980, and the brother of a regular NWAN contributor, sadly though Graeme is no longer with us.
