Would I be right in stating that this is the first of the New Irish EJ- registration sequence aircraft to use Liverpool John Lennon?

Obviously I am out of date here. So have Southern Ireland run out of EI-*** options? And have moved to EJ- and then four letters??

I think they have introduced a biz-jet register with the prefix EJ.

The Republic of Ireland have had the option of using EJ- for a very long time. Just reached for a CAM I've been using recently while compiling the Speke Visiting Aircraft Logs, actually the edition for 1974 and the EJ- option is listed there. The EI-AAA to ZZZ register commenced in 1928 and is a little over half-way through, currently being in the mid EI-Gxx sequence plus out-of-sequence use, but many of income generating 'fancy' registrations have now been used.
EJ-xxxx sequence was introduced, I think, in the second half of 2019, as yet without too great a take-up. It appears aimed at the non-commercial business and executive aircraft sector, as clearly Ireland has noted the success of M-xxxx (Manx) and 2-xxxx (Guernsey) in generating income and prestige. I imagine that the option for 4 letters gives greater scope for owners to 'fix' registrations as words, as with the G- register since 1977.
Now we are waiting for the first ZJ-xxx sequence aircraft to appear at Liverpool - and before you ask, that is the designator for the Jersey aircraft register, which commenced in late 2018. The Zx-xxx style registration sounds rather '3rd world' joining Zimbabwe (Z-), Macedonia (Z3-), Albania (ZA-), South Africa (ZS-) and Paraguay (ZP-) (with apologies to New Zealand and their ZK-xxx registrations).
