I don't know how many people are aware, but I haven't seen this reported elsewhere. The museum at Millom has gone into liquidation. Many of the exhibits are being moved to other sites, although at this stage it's difficult to say what is going where. It looks at the moment as if most of the exhibits will be saved from the scrapman. A sad situation, but I suppose it's a reflection of the times we're living in. My contact @ Dumfries indicated that they could be getting some of the aircraft that were @ Millom, I will update you of what when I get the relavant information

The only aircraft, that I'm aware of at Millom, with any relevance to sahg's growing Liverpoolcentric collection are the SD.360 and the nose of HS.748 G-ATMI. Unfortunate that this has occurred at the very time that they are fully committed to the 'rescue' of G-BEJD.
The SD.360 looks as though not too much external work is required to bring it back to presentable display standard - the last thing sahg is to have their compound looking like a scrap yard with a back-log of work though. Airframe G-SSWO was never operated in the UK by the likes of BMA, Manx, Aer Lingus, Genair, Air Ecosse, Loganair etc who used their aircraft through Liverpool during the mid & late 80s and 90s. It would look good in Aer Lingus or Manx colours though!

Thanks for that Viscount, according to Wrecks & Relics they also have the Cockpit section of HS 748 G-OPFW, although I have not seen it on site, It mat be in a beter state than G-ATMI
