Great memories. My father started flying with CATS in 1971. From about 1975 he had a Jodel D117 - G-AYKJ which was kept in the main hanger. The hanger behind MT in the image above.

A few further images to illustrate the aircraft operated by C.A.T.S.G-AZLM Cessna F.172L which was purchased from importers, Northair Aviation of Leeds, shot before the aircraft had acquired the 'Cheshire Cat' logo on the fin, so summer 1972. G-AZEU Beagle 121 Pup was never owned by the Cheshire Air Training School, but did operate with them for a while between mid-1972 and mid-1973, owned by Deltair Ltd - but proudly wearing the 'Cheshire Cat' logo of C.A.T.S. Two charming, if slightly soft focus, air-to-air shots of G-BAYO, date, location and circumstances not recorded.
