Yes, there is a huge amount of good stuff around the 'Nostalgia' sections of NWAN submitted over a time-span of some twelve plus years. In quiet moments selection at random of any of the (currently) 26 pages of Liverpool Nostalgia on the Home page will provide a number of topics to browse through - some will be dead ends, others nuggets of forgotten memories. Alternatively the Liverpool Airport Index pages pinned at the top of the first page of the Nostalgia Section Index sort some of the best information and image threads by subject matter.
It never ceases to amaze me how the Nostalgia Section thread 'hits' counters continually, relentlessly rise with time. If you find a thread which is of particular interest denuded of viewable images, let me know by PM and I'll try to have the images reposted, although this is not always possible if the original poster is no longer active. There are some threads I need to look at again eg Southport Air Displays and SAHG 'Air Fair' events to replace the images and update.
It is up to us all with photo collections to ensure that those who will become responsible for our 'house clearance' after we have gone, are aware of who to contact to best pass on a life time of images to.

To follow on from what Brian (Viscount) has written here. Even though I am in good health and still an active pilot at 78; face facts of the inevitable.
My family know that my aviation stuff is precious to me and will be of interest to others, until I realise that the contact persons are all of a certain age. Some have gone.
Therefore it seems to me that somebody much younger with an interest in aviation, in times past, might be a recipient and guardian. If anybody would take on this task please PM me. My stuff is nowhere near as good as Phil's but there are some good bits worth browsing for.
On similar lines, anybody younger person who would take up a role of simply looking up all those older posts on NWAN, and poke them once in a while, would keep all the history alive and kicking. An hours activity every New Year's day for example.
On a less dismal note, I enjoyed a last flight of 2021 on Friday. Glorious visibility and weather in our part of France, but with an interesting line of low cloud, (Fog) running to the north and west of us which made for some spectacular views of water towers poking up through the cloud. I wish you all the best for 2022.

Brian I cannot believe I missed this thread for so long! When we sorted through Phil's old photos I was amazed at just how much civil stuff there was. But he had opportunity and obviously far more slide film available than I had at the time I still happily post some of his mil stuff that I scanned where he had better access or just took a better photo than I did. Certainly once you got to the 80's in his collection the number of civil types tailed right off and he was almost pure military. Many of these old Speke images bring back lots of memories, I'm trying to do an electronic log of the civil stuff I saw and there are more than a few registrations that are familiar. Cracking job on the scanning and a fitting tribute to the man, his name is often mentioned when Neil and I get together. Ian
