Bob, I'm still in touch with Keith Lawrenson he's still living in Prescot and runs his own gardening business also you may remember Paul Loftus he is now a pilot with BA based at Heathrow after coming out of the RAF living in Bristol. Gary Nuttall is now living down south and sometimes comes on this forum, Ray LLoyd, Andrew Williams, Alan Durham, Paul Daley & Graham Hodgson are sadly no longer with us but were part of our group. Steve Mooney is also on the forum he used to work on the NCP car park at the airport and Brian Flynn he's in Garston and is a cab driver. I have an idea who you are Bob was your surname Moran? or something like that as remember going on a couple of trips with you and Keith. Cheers Les McStraw

Les, yes thats me!! and living near Birmingham now, nearly 20 years nearly in the old bill! and 13 in RAF, habitual uniform wearer me! Give my regards to Keith, would be wonderful to hear from him again and meet up sometime. many fond memories of trips out them days! and 7 days in my old red capri with Keith touring airfields all over the UK, now that was fun! Brings a smile to my face. Thanks again, and would be good to catch up sometime soon with yourself too. Shame to hear about the loss of so many old Speke faces too, I recognise many of the names and would have known some of them quite well I guess (as kids it was mainly nicknames) but still sad to hear of their passing

Excert from the GA Flyer. Following three months of detailed negotiations, the Avidrome aviation theme park at Lelystad Airport, Holland was aquired by the Libema Leisure group in mid-March and it re-opened to the public on April 28th. Good news indeed.
Regards Beemer.
