For those that know France, the hangar meals at aero clubs all around the hexagon are legendary. For going on for two years, not much has happened in that respect, but its beginning to get back to normal. Here at Atlantic Air Park, the annual mechoui was organised by the local flying club who use our aerodrome. About 130 people enjoyed an aperitif, mussels, lamb spit roasted over wood with the trimmings including local mogette beans, cheese, dessert and coffee with copious amounts of wine. Here are a few pictures including one of a few visiting aeroplanes. (Note the Bulldog.) The band is mostly made up of club members and or their nearest and dearest. 20210912_162457 by Ron Turner, on Flickr 20210912_162448 by Ron Turner, on Flickr 20210912_145914 by Ron Turner, on Flickr 20210912_145805 by Ron Turner, on Flickr
