Just went outside....heard radial engines high over Runcorn...looked on flight radar....a variation on the old Beach 18 a 9800ft. 08.05
From the Stratford area routing North.
Sounded great....unfortunately could not see it due cloud.
Built 1952....like the old days.

Same here overhead Halewood around 8.08 but couldn't see it, blue aircraft against a blue sky. Great to hear the sound of radials again.

Robbo was telling me another Beech 18 Expeditor 3TM G-BKGL, crashed on Corsica 14-09-21 and completely destroyed but no fatalities. As seen by me at Bruntingthorpe. Shame as it was a lovely aircraft. G-BKGL Beech 18 Expeditor 3TM by Beemer328i, on Flickr
