The Avian and Dragon Rapide will follow next week and will be reassembled by the transportation team and there will also be a press/media release.....Aviation groups are now asking to visit with one pencilled in for early next year .If NWAN members want to visit I wil liase with Admin to sort something out .early next year... If you CANT wait until then the membership fee for The Aeroplane Collection has been reduced to just £10 to generate new members and interest ....visit The Aeroplane Collection website for details....a chance to put something back into our hobby and be in at the start of this exciting period at Hooton Park......

Yes Rob GjD Services Specialist movers employed by The Science Museum of which MOSI is part and they will be doing the re assembly as well ..never seen so many tags and labels! Even asbestos tests done and signed off safe on engine gaskets.....For any senior members who can remember the bent rotor on the Bensen G-APUD ...its still bent!

The link to the clip of GJD reassembling the first of the Avro aircraft being relocated from MoSI to TAC at Hooton, as noted by 'Robaero' above is a rather short one, but fun as it uses time lapse photography and repeats itself repeatedly. The hyper-link should now connect, if not then copy & paste on to your address bar. www.fb.watch/9zwFsgOldj/Thanks to "Robaero", "Beemer" and "MooneyNCP" for their input into finding the link and then helping me getting it to work!

Brian My thanks as well for posting the link access and of course Rob, Brian and Steve for their help
Can anyone ex NAPS help as to why the Pou de Ciel has a bulldog painted on the fin ?
Old NAPS stuff turning up now and then....blank membership cards ...a car sticker.and metal impressed BAPC numbers that were going to be rivetted onto airframes found so far..
The last 2 escapees from MOSI are due this week (Avian and Dragon Rapide)
So far the poll has shown 11 members wanting a visit so will get a date in the New Year sorted out .....NB latest update wont be any visits before end of January...
