Hi I have often wondered why the site never gives any information on USB and LSB transmitions. AND now that LJLA have started some wide bodied aircraft thes can be followed on Shanwick USB. there is also a lot more US and British traffic both civil and military on side band .

Content is, to a great degree, driven by the information that members wish to post and feel is important to share with other members and to a smaller degree by Admin. The lack of information derived from USB and LSB transmissions - although to be frank I am not immediately aware of translation of the initials or the term 'side band', could be due to few having the means to gather and share the information, unlike the universally accessible FR24. We did a few years back have a member who recorded ACARS information on a daily basis, which eventually died out with FR24 becoming available. 'Neil' if you have interesting and relevant stuff to post, then you are welcome to do so. If it doesn't fit in Airport headings or 'Over the Top' (which is basically for reports of transits over England's NW region), they could fit in 'Further Airfield UK & Eire', 'Even further afield - Overseas' or 'Other aviation Related Topics'. Just ensure the thread title clearly reflects the content.
