I Don't think we should be too concerned at the moment as Wizz did the same thing, maybe it's to keep the pressure on the airport if they up the fees during the current inflation hike! The Which survey is not helping MAN either to encourage airlines to swap. Many passengers will remember the dreadful experience of Manchester this year, and wont want a repeat of that next year. The Which Report will just confirm that experience. I had the misfortune of arriving at Manchester last Friday evening, just getting out of the place was awful, never seen such traffic jams around airport service roads. Which is interesting as the other day you posted about this very experience on another forum and commented that things like passport control was fast and apart from the roads, was an ok experience. Now you call it awful. Shows your being negative for the sake of it.

I said the terminal experience was OK, and I said the traffic getting out was awful, as I've said here. No difference.

After the airport memorial service yesterday it was mentioned that a good majority were connecting to the USA.

Maybe I was unlucky, however was chatting with a friend today from Hebden Bridge, he has experienced the same clogged airport road network several times. I rarely have to use Manchester, so it its not something that concerns me luckily.

Just returned from Iceland. I'm extremely impressed with FlyPlay. Very professional outfit, flight arrived 30 minutes early in Reykjavik and 10 minutes early on return to Liverpool. More legroom than usual, even more than some full fare airlines. Prices onboard similar to other lo-cos (not icelandic prices). The staff are dressed casually. Overall this is one of the better airlines that I have used, and I have used plenty. I will probably use them long-haul next year to Boston so I'll see how that goes. I didn't do a headcount but I think the flights were about 75-80 per cent full in my guesstimate. By the way, Iceland was not as expensive as I was expecting (except shopping which isnt my thing anyway). You could get a pint for around £7.00 in certain pubs and we ate in nice enough restaurants for about £15.00 a head (without drinks). Accommodation was pricy but we booked just outside the centre which was much more affordable. Good and cheap public transport. Both airports were a breeze to travel through. An excellent experience overall.

I submitted a positive report on Flyplay on trustpilot yesterday. Trustpilot decided to delete it. Any ideas as to why?

I'm slightly confused, Harbourcotter. You say that you arrived 30 minutes early in Reykjavik, but I assume you mean Keflavik? It's many years since I was last there, so in those days landing at that godforsaken strip at Keflavik meant an expensive 45-minute taxi ride to Reykjavik. Presumably, some sort of bus service operates between there and the capital nowadays? Were you able to visit Reykjavik airport?

Yes, apologies, I did mean Keflavik, Reykjavik is only used for domestic flights. Unfortunately it was only a short stay so there is no way my wife would accept spending some time at either airport! There is a coach service now from Keflavik into Reykjavik (hourly) and it costs just under £20 per person each way. For anyone wishing to visit Reykjavik airport there is plenty of local buses and you can walk in about 30 minutes or so from the town centre. By the way I made a complaint to trustpilot. I'll see if they resurrect it.

Was on the outbound today, 141 passengers so about 79% full. Probably 50/50 in terms of connecting passengers. Will be heading on to Boston shortly. Have to say Liverpool on both the inbound (23rd) and outbound was a breeze.
