Me and my son flew out to Lisbon on Monday from Stansted aboard a new B737 max of Ryanair.
Stansted terminal was busy but through security in 10 mins
Flight was uneventful , on time and for my 6ft 1inch, good leg room
Saw the reds put away Benfica. We where a part of the stand reserved for away supporters. Liverpool said that they had sold all their tickets, yet the area was only half full?
I digress.
We had received confirmation of the outward and return flight from E- Dreams upon booking and 2 days later received our boarding pass for the outward journey.
The same e-mail from E-Dreams gave us details of the return flight together with seat numbers.
We had still not received our boading passes the night before departure so we rang E-Dreams, they said we had to contact Ryanair.
We did this only to be told that they had no details of our return flight , so we went back on to E-Dreams. They came up with every excuse, saying that we had only paid for the outward flight or why had we cancelled the flight. Getting nowhere we asked to speak with a supervisor who eventually acknowledged the situation but offered no help apart from confirming we would get a refund for 50% of the fare. He sent an email confirming this, but I am not holding my breath
Has anybody got any similar experience with this so called travel agent and did you get any money back?
We flew back later than we planned on a British Airways A320 neo Nice plane, leg room similar to the Ryanair flight and we got a free bottle of water and a packet of crisps. ( pity is wasn’t a pint of lager)
