Evening all,
Hearing rumours that the South Korean Air Force will be performing at the above with their T50 aircraft.
A little different for Southport!

I think I would be right in saying I saw these perform at RIAT 2012 and they were incredible putting all other display teams to shame.
They are that good it is frightening to watch them. Wow!!! Beemer.

That's good news. I've also seen the Black Eagles are to fly with the Red Arrows. Now that will be a sight.

And according to Blackpool Spotters, the North Korean Black Eagles are doing recce's over Southport between 0955 & 1020hrs on Thurs and Fri this week.

The Red Arrows will be using Blackpool Airport, and the Typhoon display team won't be using Liverpool Airport either according to a post on another group. The Black Eagles are operating out of Boscombe Down I've read.

3 of the Black Eagles have just flown over
Managed to catch them but I’d moved from the beach area
Presume the times need adjusting by an hour?

Just had a 3 ship of the Koreans doing several fly-bys in prep for their weekend participation
Really low cloud base here in Southport at the moment, so fingers crossed for better conditions on show days
Nevertheless great sight
Sounds like they’ve gone into a “higher” display above the cloud base

1209 Typhoon XJ 914 "RIOT2" practice display in progress. Flew in with another XK 682 "RIOT1" which is circling out to sea..
Now landed at Blackpool
