I'm glad I went on Sunday rather than Saturday, as it was warmer and sunnier. It would have been pretty grim if it had rained, and of course there were no static aircraft to look at. The Typhoon display was outstanding, helped by loads of condensation flashes. My favourite, though, was the MiG. I agree with the other contributors about the Black Eagles - nice colour scheme but the display was a bit pedestrian. Perhaps they were limited by fuel, having come from Boscombe Down. All in all, an enjoyable air show.
