I am very jealous Beemer. I see them in the trees near the garden all the time, but despite there being food on the table, they never come down for some reason. Lovely birds, though.

The Blue Tits have turned up for the eight (edit 2015) successive year since I knocked up the birdbox from scrap timber donated by a man with a van while dumping it down Dungeon Lane. It was Great tits I think last year but they all do the same by trying to make the hole in the box bigger. 
Blue Tit ...being watched from just above it in the tree was one of the Goldfinches.
