this is one bus related challenge thats got me beat. not got much an intrest in Crosville but more Liverpool Stuff like L501 which has already been mentioned.
Wallasey 1 looks tierd now as she hasnt been painted since entering preservation and yellow does fade after a certain amount of years. Good news about one of the mtts ongoing projects A36 is now painted into a dark green with cream bands livery and is Motd ready. it looks fantastic

back in the sixties,london country purchased some out the the ordinary leyland PD3/5'S, NICKNAMED "QUEEN MARYS" I have a photo,dont have capability to send it thru,but this could be of of the ones you have described,with crossville colours with cream roof,and cream middle band. regn nbr "6933 CD" HOPE THIS HELPS.

Welcome to the forum jt, hope you enjoy it. Not 6933 but 6935 CD a Queen Mary Class, Leyland PD3, owned by Southdown Motor Services but seen here on hire to London Country in the early 70's. Although I don't recall Crosville owning any of these, they are very similar to those owned and operated in the Liverpool area by Ribble Motor Services at that time.
