5 Dublin-Cork flights are flown by the Cork based aircraft and 5 Cork-Dublin flights are flown by a Dublin based aircraft. Therefore the split is: 143 Liverpool based aircraft and 25 from other bases.
You report 22 flights on a Saturday by 8 aircraft LPL. 143 flights-a-week works out as only 18 flights-a-week on average for 8 aircraft. Have you checked other days?
Do our aircraft fly any W patterns?
Our there aircraft based at Tenerife?

Are any aircraft MAN based for the new routes there, or are they "W" patterns, using LPL aircraft? The latter I think.
That may answer your questions as to spare capacity.
Remember RYR are using T2 at MAN at non-peak times, so it seems no aircraft are based there. Using LPL based aircraft will make sense with crewing.

While 4 a day, some days of the week on the Liverpool - Dublin route sounds good. In attempting to book a day-return on either Tuesday 16th August or Thursday 18th August, I find a ridiculous situation with stupid flight times.
Departures from Liverpool to Dublin are at 1600, 2105 & 2145 - thats right no early morning departure, no morning departure, no lunch-time departure, nothing until near the end of the working day! Then, two only 40 minutes apart arriving as the city is closing down for the night. Crazy.
Return flights, Dublin - Liverpool have a more decent spread, 0855, 1715, 2300, but quite useless to me if I can't get there in the morning.
No wonder Ryanair need to programme an extra daily flight through Manchester, as they are preventing their passengers flying from Liverpool, even if offering a similar number of flights to last summer (3 or 4 a day).

We shouldnt reallybe surprised to see FR back in MAN on routes other than Dublin,Oleary is as usual, playing one airport over another, and does this all over the network. All it means is that it will make life more difficult for the BMI baby,s and Jet2,s of this world, but hey, thats competition for you!.I agree its a pity that the Dublin route is being operated in a tardy fashion as regards times, and maybe the airport can do more to convince them to reintroduce the early am departure,so heres hoping.

Am I reading this aright? No early morning departures from LJLA to Dublin? Nothing until 1600? Are Ryanair joking? Surely they will announce revised times with an early morning departure. If they don't then, if I was in charge at LJLA, I would be talking first with easyJet, then with Aer Lingus and Jet2. This would make Ryanair reconsider. I would do it in double-quick time before the reputation of the airport is damaged. O'Leary would have no cause to complain as the airport has an obligation to its customers first.

Ryanair released a Liverpool to Dublin schedule many years ago which I described in NWAN News as a "Dog's Breakfast" but this schedule takes the biscuit. I doubt if any other airline would come in on the route as the moment they start Ryanair will suddenly introduce a morning service to compete.
To answer TonySpeke's question Ryanair are opening bases in the Canary Islands during February at Lanzarote, Las Palmas and Tenerife South.
Finally, no Liverpool-based aircraft will be involved in the Manchester operation. All flights operating through Manchester will be operated from their respective bases namely Alicante, Dublin, Faro, Madrid and Tenerife South.

The Saturday example is detailed as in all eight based aircraft flight program for the day. The weekly example is detailed in as much as the number of frequencies per route over the week. Do our aircraft fly any W patterns? LPL based aircraft dont. Our there aircraft based at Tenerife? Yes, and unusually for FR the Wednesday flight in August arrives in Tenerife after midnight.

The Kos frequency is twice weekly service, on Wednesdays and Sundays, and begins on April 13.
The Rhodes flight is also twice weekly, operating Monday and Thursday, commencing April 14th.

Kos and Rhodes may be OK for the bucket and spade brigade but what about restoring the early connexions to Dublin? The business community on Merseyside would see this as serious intent from Ryanair rather than pandering to the holidaymaker.

Ryanair supposedly reducing (together with 16 other routes) the Liverpool/Girona flight frequency in answer to a tiff they have with the Catalan Government.
They are also stopping flights to 18 destination that includes Gatwick and Madrid too.
