Good Morning
Im hoping someone out there can help me. For some reason my computer has stopped displaying certain items.
For example it will not show any video clips from the BBC News or Sport web pages. The news pane of facebook wont show but worst of all the map and aircraft on flight radar 24 are not displaying.
I have run c-cleaner to no avail. Can anyone help please?

Other things that are not loading are the drop-down menus on ferry/flight booking sites and the BBC weathermap.

try checking if your direct x drivers are up to date, and graphics card drivers are also up to date and possibly check if you have flash player programs on your computer ? . this or these may help.steve

Thanks for your replies. I ran a check on the microsoft website and was told that I had the latest version of DirectX installed. My Java updates just 2 weeks ago. I did uninstall MS Flighsim 2002 earlier this week. Could this of affected my PC?

Depends on how how you carried out the removal of FltSim. Was it via the control panel add/remove method or via some other method, an unapproved removal can also remove stuff that should be kept. May try a reinstall and then correct method of removal.

Does your PC have an auto restore feature? If so, it maybe worth trying to restore it to a date prior to loosing these files. The restore feature can usually be accessed by clicking the 'All Programs' menu then 'Accessories' and 'System Tools'.
I could be wrong but I seem to recall Icebreaker as being a bit of a computer wizard. Unfortunately, he hasn't logged in since the 15th October (hope he's ok) but it may be worth sending him a PM, ready for the next time he does.

try and download the cccp codec's (combined community codec pack) see if that may put in the missing codec's for your display videos.steve

I had a problem with a PC belonging to someone who works with me, eventually we downloaded Ubuntu otherwiSe known as Linux. This is a pc geeks answer to everything and is freeware and apparently can not get virus infections, it also has everything bulit in. You can download it form free and have your pc dual boot so you can choose either Vista, XP etc or start im Ubuntu. < Do google search and see if it helps. Or look at this Vista Repair link www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html

WTF!
That's what C-Cleaner is supposed to do - (the clue is in the title)
C-Cleaner is an excellent product if you know how to use it.
Like saying you used a pop-up blocker and now it stops your pop-ups.
