The Falcon 10 prototype first flew 10.70. After 3 prototypes, the 32nd production Falcon 10 was constructed 12.74 and after preparation for the Aeronavale, was delivered 4.75. The source I'm using shows the base as Lann-Bihoue, however my listing matching call-sign block (F-YTE*) and units is way out of date. The final Falcon 10/100 was C/no.226 constructed during 1989.
So, yes Beemer, today's Falcon 10MER has been with the Aeronavale for 35 years - and as the French military use the constructor's number as the aircraft identity was certainly the same as that seen Paris 5/83.
Great shame the pilot decided to go-around rather than select to touch and go. I am led to believe that a recent re-structuring of the Airport's charges, a go-around now costs the same as a touch and go.
Many thanks, Hawker, for the early heads-up, very useful to plan my day.
