Ronaldsway wasn't like that when I visited it. It's like a mini Luton. Nice photos Dave. Regards Beemer.

Good stuff Dave. Particularly like the un-painted 900 and the Global. Any idea why they are on the island?
Cheers

A number of Manx reg aircraft come into the island simply to be registered. I think those two have been delivered early but I'm not sure why

Owners and manufacurers are trying to register and import their aircraft before 4 January 2011 as this when the new VAT rate of 20% comes in.
Previously, aircraft over 5,700kg were zero-rated so quite a big difference on a $50m aircraft !
The BBJ which visited recently had been stored for nearly a year with no buyers - now the dealer has decided to put it on the Manx register in the hope of selling it otherwise a potential owner would be landed with an extra $10m tax bill !
Might see a few more vistors before Tuesday !

Some fantastic shots again appearing on this thread, the idea of having its own section is paying off in shed loads ;D some good pictures combined with some good scenery and better still some unusual aircraft we may never see up close. Nice work DK thanks and have a great new year.

They are great shots, Biggles but can some one tell me why are they painted like a patchwork quilt. I know its a primer but why not one colour. The 125's at Hawarden were painted the same. Why? Regards Beemer
