A couple of my current projects are Trim components for Evoque.
JLR's production projections are increasing and their ramp up to full volume is meteoric.

i think it looks nice in black but if i was gonna get one it would have to go in red with a black roof as it looks fantastic.
i saw that exact one a few weeks ago and was confused by it with it having a reg applied

The last launch at Halewood (Freelander 2) saw number of private charters at LJLA. These included 737 and MD80's. It was strictly a 'Dealer Launch' where large numbers were brought in from Italy in particular. There was a business function the week before last at the Anglican Cathedral which proved to be very successful. Mr Ralf Speth (JLR - CEO) was very, very impressed with Liverpool as a backdrop - I think we may see Liverpool, JLR and the Evoque splashed very positively across the globe.
This Launch is getting planned meticulously and JLR want it to be flawless - I think LJLA will benefit (if not already) from this venture.

Looks like LPL has lost out to Hawarden for the launch of the new Land Rover, it appears that the jurno's will be flying back to london from chester. From the 25/7/11 there will be one flight a day (7 days a week) for 2 weeks.
More info to follow when I get the times and type of aircraft to be used.

It wouldn't surprise me if Delamere Forest is part of the 'Ride and Drive' along with posh Hotel's in Chester - it adds up.

I understand that the route is Farnbourgh to Valley and then to Liverpool city centre and then to Hawarden.

I purchased a Range Rover a few years ago from James Edwards the agent in Chester. As part of the deal I got an of road training day at Carden Park Hotel which has purpose built off road course which LR use for these days. Could still be used by them which could go someway to explain the use of HWD. Another opportunity missed maybe depending on who it was missed the chance.

I purchased a Range Rover a few years ago from James Edwards the agent in Chester. So did I.....and it spent more time back in their workshop than on the road GC

Spot on Jake3 - Valley now being used.
I understand that part of the route will be the disused rail tunnel leading from Edge Hill Station down to the Docks. This involve going through a massive water obstacle - sounds fascinating what they are planning. When it comes to a 'Global Launch' as this is - nothing is ruled in or out!

"So did I.....and it spent more time back in their workshop than on the road"
I have to admit they have had a bad reputation on build and reliability over the years, but happily I have to admit having owned 4 in total, I have not had a bad one. Luck of the draw I guess. I do know of plenty of horror stories even with brand new £70k ones.
